Zakaria Kably’s career in M&A started in 2010, working for Rothschild in Paris until 2014. During this period, Zakaria worked on numerous buyside and sell side assignments, both for corporate clients and financial sponsors across Europe and Africa. Prior to joining Alantra in 2021, Zakaria worked 4 years for Barclays and 2 years for Lazard in Paris.
Over the span of 12 years in investment banking, Zakaria Kably has advised on several transactions for European and African clients such as Engie, Veolia, Eramet, Sanofi, OCP Group, EDF, PAI Partners, Apax, CVC Capital, Rhône Capital, Kingfisher, Groupe Fnac, Bouygues, Casino, Meditelecom, CDG Group, and many others.
Zakaria graduated with a Master in Finance from ESSEC Business School of Paris in 2010.
