JP McGrath

JP joined Alantra in 2022 as Head of UK Financial Institutions. JP has over 25 years’ experience in advising a wide range of financial institutions, from insurers to asset managers to wealth managers, platforms, insurance brokers, fund administrators and specialty finance firms. JP joined Alantra from Perella Weinberg Partners, the North American boutique advisory firm. Previously JP was Head of European Investment Banking at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, the leading US mid-market financials specialist advisory firm and a Director at Rothschild, the global advisory firm. JP read law at Cambridge and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1994.
