José Alberto Parejo

José Alberto brings more than 20y of his previous experience in finance, banking, investor relations, and capital raising to his current role as Director in the Business Development department of Alantra Asset Management.

A member of Alantra since 2008, his responsibilities include the capital raising of Alantra Asset Management products in Europe with a strong specialization in the private equity products of the platform: PE (LBO), VC (climate tech, healthcare, and cybersecurity), infra equity/renewables and hybrid debt/equity, both in funds and co-investments.

Previously he worked as an investor relations manager at Spanish Savings Bank Caixa Galicia, where he also had been an analyst and trader, in corporate finance at PwC (Madrid offices) and in banking at Santander in the NY office.

He holds a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Financial Markets and Finance, both from Madrid’s CEU University
