Daniel Ibarzabal

Daniel Ibarzabal has more than 30 years of experience in strategic management, sales, and marketing. Before joining Alantra Private Equity, he was the founder and CEO of ekho The Wood Way, and served as the CEO of Grupo IF, the leading industrial group in Latin America, with more than 3,500 employees and a presence in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and Central America. Prior to that, he held marketing and sales positions at Campofrío Food Group and The Coca-Cola Company.

At Alantra Private Equity, Daniel focuses on strategy, sales and marketing challenges to support Alantra Private Equity’s portfolio companies with their growth.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, USA, and an Executive MBD from IE Business School, Madrid. He is an Associate Professor at IE University.
