ServiceM&A
Paris – Alantra has advised WeAre Group (“the Group”), a major player in the manufacture of small and medium-sized complex detail parts in the aerospace and defense sector, on the acquisition of TARAMM and GAMMA-Tial. Both companies will complement the Group’s production sites specializing in turning, milling, additive manufacturing, sheet metal work and assembly.
The TARAMM and GAMMA-Tial production sites, located in Ariège and Indre-et-Loire, currently employ 90 people and will provide WeAre Group with unique know-how in the lost-wax titanium casting market.
The acquisition also supports the needs of WeAre Group’s customers to secure their supply chain with solid European players capable of meeting future challenges, thereby offering significant development prospects for the Group. Recognized for its ability to consolidate, WeAre Group is already deploying a transformation plan on the two new production sites that will enable it to achieve industrial and operational excellence, just like the Group’s current sites.
This acquisition was financed with the support of Ace Capital Partners, a subsidiary of Tikehau Capital, a shareholder and historical partner of WeAre Group’s growth since its creation. With this transaction, WeAre Group will exceed €220 million in revenues by 2024.
