Madrid – Alantra has acted as Global Coordinator for the capital increase of Making Science, a listed technology, data & marketing consultancy group, on BME Growth.
Founded in Madrid in 2016 by former Google executive Jose Antonio Martinez Aguilar, Making Science aims to help companies accelerate their digital capabilities by offering complementary and synergetic services. The company focuses on high-growth segments such as digital marketing, cloud technology, and software, with in-house data and software engineering teams capable of developing proprietary platforms and technology for clients, and AdTech & MarTech.
Alantra was one of the Global Coordinators participating in the transaction, carrying out an extensive marketing process and thorough investor education. This involved several meetings focused on local and international institutional investors. Despite an adverse market environment for the micro-cap space, Alantra’s marketing efforts significantly contributed to a final book populated by leading local and international investors.
André Pereira, Managing Director and Head of ECM at Alantra, said: “Our successful participation reflects the credibility of our equities franchise with top investors in Iberia, the UK, and Continental Europe as well as our unique track record in equity capital market transactions. We are proud to have assisted Making Science in this transaction, which will enable the company to continue growing and generating value for its stakeholders. This is our second capital markets transaction with Making Science since 2022, demonstrating the effectiveness of our Corporate Brokerage business and our long-term strategy with our clients.”
