Alantra advises Grupo Focun on the sale of its shares to GI Group

Bogotá – Alantra, the global investment banking firm, has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Grupo Focun on the sale of 100% of the shares of its operating subsidiaries, T&S Temservice and Especialistas en Servicios Integrales (ESI), to GI Group, a leading global human resources outsourcing company.

Through the acquisition, GI Group inorganically increased the size of its local operation in Colombia to become one of the largest players in the market.

Based in Bogotá and with a footprint across Colombia, Grupo Focun has a 30+ year history providing staffing and outsourcing services to national and multinational companies in the financial, industrial, oil, mining, mass consumption, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, transport and telecommunications sectors, among others.

Grupo Focun offers its services through several brands including T&S Temservice, Alkho, Impakte, Netinn and Facility Management. The Group is one of the leading companies in the sector in Colombia, employing more than 6,000 people and with a client list of more than 180.
