Alantra advises ALG Naturgreen on its integration with The Natural Fruit Company

Spain – Alantra, the global investment banking, and asset management specialist, is pleased to announce that it has acted as sole M&A advisor to the shareholders of ALG Naturgreen (“Naturgreen” or “The Company”) on its integration with The Natural Fruit Company (“TNFC”).
Naturgreen is a family-owned company founded in 1992 and headquartered in Seville, Spain. The Company focuses on the processing and commercialization of bio-inclusive and conventional citrus (oranges and tangerines) and stone fruit. As a result of its sustainable agricultural practice, Naturgreen is the first worldwide citrus producer awarded with WWF branding.
TNFC is a leading European player in the processing, distribution, and commercialisation of citrus fruit, which resulted from the combination of three family businesses. Since July 2021, it is owned by pan-European mid-market investment firm, Fremman Capital. At present, TNFC controls c. 900 hectares of plantations across Spain, mainly oriented to organic production, with a total processing capacity of c. 400k tonnes of fruit per annum.
Following the transaction, the shareholders of Naturgreen will help drive TNFC’s sustainable business and maximize its expansion on the bio-inclusive citrus market, where Naturgreen is a leader and forerunner.
