Alantra advises Aebi Schmidt Holding on the acquisition of certain assets from Oshkosh Corporation

Zurich – Alantra has advised its long-standing client Aebi Schmidt Holding (“ASH”) on the acquisition of certain assets relating to U.S. based Oshkosh Snow Products from Oshkosh Corporation.

ASH is a global market leader in special vehicles and machines in the areas of winter services, municipal service as well as airport technology, and a leading player in mountain agriculture.

Oshkosh Snow Products has been a renowned player in the airport snow removal industry since the 1950s, when it began selling its snow removal trucks. The firm specializes in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining a variety of snow removal apparatus, including snow trucks and their associated attachments.

In a recent statement published by ASH, Barend Fruithof (ASH CEO) said: ““This will strengthen our business in North America, both in sales, production and in the After Sales business, which we would like to expand further”. Steffen Schewerda (CEO Aebi Schmidt North America) added: “The acquisition also makes a lot of sense for us from a business point of view”.

This transaction marks another milestone in Alantra’s relationship with ASH, having acted as financial advisor to Aebi Schmidt on the acquisition of Monroe Truck Equipment in 2021 and other previous transactions.
