Alantra advises Cofibex shareholders on the sale of the Group to Praxy Développement

Paris – Alantra has advised the shareholders of Groupe Cofibex, a major player in waste management in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region generating over €100mn in revenues, on its sale to Groupe Praxy Développement, the holding company of the Praxy Environnement et Services network. This network brings together independent regional SMEs and operates 110 platforms across France.

A recognized specialist in waste management, Groupe Cofibex provides a comprehensive range of services, including collection, sorting, and recovery, along with complementary solutions such as equipment rental and sanitation. With its 10 well-positioned sites, the Group serves a diverse clientele—from industrial companies to local authorities and the service sector—while maximizing waste recovery potential.

By joining Praxy Environment Services, Groupe Cofibex will gain the support of a strong national network and the expertise of a well-established territorial presence. This partnership will create significant synergies to develop increasingly innovative solutions tailored to the needs of local authorities and businesses while optimizing existing services. Together, the two groups aim to strengthen their position as a leading force in sustainable waste management in France.
