The past few months have provided the chance to test lender behaviour in a crisis. While new deals have started to flow again, volumes are of course significantly down. However, as we explore in our new debt capital markets update, debt funds have continued to raise new capital which they need to deploy and we are seeing evidence of rising competition offsetting the impact of the Covid crisis.
