Alantra strengthens its Equities business with three partner promotions in Madrid

Madrid – Alantra, the independent global mid-market financial services firm, has strengthened its Equities business with the promotion of André Pereira, Nelson Cruz, and Fernando Abril-Martorell to partners. The promotions represent a clear reinforcement of the Firm’s commitment to its equities business, especially to ECM, supported by an attractive pipeline of IPO candidates. In addition, Alantra wants to enhance its presence in attracting capital to mid & small companies to support their growth plans, both with IPOs and with pre-IPO structures.
André Pereira is head of ECM Iberia and has been with Alantra Equities for three years. He was previously responsible for the ECM business at JB Capital Markets. He has successfully advised on more than 30 transactions worth over €15bn, including IPOs, capital increases, ABBs, M&A, and DCM deals.
Nelson Cruz is head of trading at Alantra Equities. The Firm’s aim is to strengthen the team in one of the businesses with strongest growth potential. Nelson has been with Alantra Equities for four years and has been responsible for the exponential growth of the Firm’s trading business in the last few years, both in terms of volume traded and number of clients.
Fernando Abril-Martorell is part of the Research team at Alantra Equities, and is responsible for the coverage of the TMT, Retail, Real Estate and Travel sectors. He has been with Alantra Equities for over five years.
